Takes inputs e.g., raw materials and processes them to produce an output e.g., a finished good

 

Outsourcing and sourcing

Provide goods or services to other businesses (B2B) e.g., offering catering services

Using the services of other business to procure materials, components or services

Acting as a middle person between businesses or businesses and consumers e.g., supplying personal cooking service in home or business

 

Channels to markets

Routes from business to consumer e.g., online or physical, face to face or remote, direct or through multiple intermediaries

 

Organisational form:

Flat organisational structure,

Decision making roles centred on major shareholder

Responsibilities direct manager to subordinate
